Concert for Ebola : Who’ll dry your tears

The event was hosted by St Faith’s church as part of their support for the Waterloo Partnership. The church has in fact been involved with the Partnership since its inception nearly 10 years ago.

The concert was given by The Wayfarers Barbershop Chorus from Southport, fresh from their award winning performance at the Southport Festival, and Indigo Vibe, a mixed voice choir from Liverpool who have links with St Faith’s. A large audience enjoyed music young and old, and also a splendid half time Indian supper.

The concert raised just over £1,000 for the Waterloo Partnership’s Ebola appeal, which was sent the next day to provide basic food for the families in quarantine.
