Quiz Night Success
A quiz night, compared by John Nelson, was held in June to raise funds for WP and Footballs4fun. There was a fantastic atmosphere and a great deal of laughter, banter and rivalry took place, to say nothing of the singing!
To add to the event, an auction was held and prizes, ranging from signed footballs and books, a tour of the City of Liverpool and an afternoon tea, were auctioned to the highest bidder. Enthusiasm ran so high that a Liverpool Encyclopaedia was purchased for a very high price by an avid Evertonian!
The whole evening was a great success and £560 was donated to each charity.
