How did we begin? |
| A
group of people from Waterloo, Merseyside UK went to Sierra Leone, West
Africa in 2005 to find out what help was needed, following the country's
tragic civil war. They saw communities struggling to survive, amid great
hardship. This was especially true in Waterloo, near the capital
Freetown. The fortunate eat one meal a day. The majority
exists without fresh water, electricity and free health care. The Waterloo Partnership charity was founded in September, 2005. Two committees, one in Merseyside and one in Sierra Leone, work together for change and to improve the quality of life for many. |
